I love God of War. I’ve suffered endless shtick for awarding God of War 3 a 10/10 , yet I firmly believe that judged against other ‘spectacle’ games, the PS3-exclusive brawler has no peers.

Off the bat, let me declare the differences between God of War 2 and its sequel in terms of gameplay. The first main difference is the button combination required to open doors and chests. Although subtle, the buttons that need to be pressed have been changed, for example, to open a door you have to hold a shoulder button and they mash circle.
